Chinese scooter repair for 1000 euros?
Hello everyone, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to scooters.
I bought my daughter a used 4-stroke scooter. It ran without any problems until suddenly it wouldn't start.
After replacing the battery, spark plugs, etc. without success, I have now taken it to the workshop
Now came the shocking news that the repair will cost almost 1000 euros, as the scooter apparently has several defective parts
However, I don't know if it's worth spending 1000 on repairs for a scooter that I bought for 500 euros or if I should sell it
Maybe someone here has some advice for me

What are you gonna fix for 1000€ and what kind of vehicle is? A typical 139QMB engine is available for example for 380€, completely new.

for 1000 euros you could almost get a new China scooter in the 50 ccm class. If you really don’t want to screw it around yourself, or you can, try to sell the old scooter better and then get you something smarter in a reasonable state.
