USB sticks are incredibly cheap, why do you even want to take a risk? What do you promise?

If you have knowledge of electrical engineering, you could look at the board and see if, for example, many capacitors are installed (so that you can grill your motherboard) or you switch a voltage insulator between to prevent this. The cost is usually more than a 64Gb stick…

You can open the stick in a sandbox against harmful data.

But, again, what is a risk?
