Cheapest PC option just for programming?

The situation is as follows: I am currently using a laptop, monitor, and BT keyboard and mouse to program comfortably in bed since I am tied down here.

Now I like it like this, but the laptop is annoying and I would like to replace it.

I thought about using the phone with an additional keyboard, but I often use both at the same time and can't do without a real screen.

Refurbished, it probably starts at around €60, but I'd spend even less if possible. If it has standard slots, I can add RAM and SSD myself if needed. The main components I'm missing are the motherboard, power, and graphics.

You can build a kind of tablet out of a Raspberry Pi. It's very thick and has all the ports you need.

2x USB-A 3.0

2x USB-A 2.0

And, depending on the generation, it costs between €5 and €117. I'd recommend buying a Raspberry Pi 4. Then you can buy a touchscreen and a Raspberry Pi case.

As far as I know, everything is pre-installed on the Raspberry Pi (RAM, BIOS, etc.), but you may still need to connect additional memory.

disadvantage:

The Rasberry PI must be connected to the power supply at all times.

Look for used Shuttle PCs or thin clients etc.
