"Chasing my Dreams" as a status – Arrogant?
I am a mechanical engineering student at a large university in Bavaria. I currently have an average grade of 1.2 (there is obviously room for improvement 😉 ), which makes me the best in my year. I was/am a tutor in advanced mathematics 1/2 and technical mechanics 1. My dream is to become a professor for statics and strength of materials as well as for FEM.
I often post things from university on my Instagram profile. Some of my profile pictures also show me at a major automobile manufacturer.
Now for the actual question. Do you find my new status, "Chasing my Dreams," arrogant? I think it describes me quite well. Do you think it might make my profile seem unsympathetic?

I think it’s a very good life motto. In any case, try to grab the stars. You just can’t be disappointed if something doesn’t work at some point, even though you’ve been troubled.
You can be found asympathetic, of course. There are people who do not strive for good grades or an academic career from the outset, but still pursue their dreams in their own way. Why should they be impressed by your content or find it good? But that’s okay. As you don’t have to find all the others well, all the others don’t have to find you well. Even if you look unsympathetic to someone, it’s not a problem.

No, the status doesn’t work arrogant – it shows that you are motivated and ambitious! 😊 As long as you stay authentic and don’t exaggerate, that’s all right. Your profile sounds inspiring, not unhappy. Keep going and follow your dreams! 💪🍀
