Chargeback after Lidl purchase?
Hi, I recently made a purchase at a Lidl store (approx. €49). I just received a message from my bank stating that the direct debit was returned due to insufficient funds in my account.
What should I expect now? Will there be a second attempt to debit the amount, or will I receive a direct message from a debt collection agency?
Have any of you had a similar case? I'm grateful for any help.
Even if I have not yet had the case; because of other life experiences, I strongly assume that Lidl will try to debit for a second time plus reload charge fees, of course! But I assume that you will be informed of the new debit date. Soooo fast goes a demand not to a debt collection company! This is, so to speak, the last instance, if there is no prospect of success at all, according to my experience. However, it would be good to make a second debit financially secured.
Don’t be crazy!
Thank you for the answer🫶🏻
Sure. I can of course only assume how other companies handle this; PayPal e.g.! Because at Lidl I had no reload and no one knows where it would have been!
Despite everything; beautiful Christmas and all good!
Thanks for the star!
You have to wait. I’ll tap on the second.
Wait for nothing. Go to Lidl this morning and pay your purchase in cash.
They cannot cash in any amount if the customer has paid nothing
Then deposit to the bank account. Most importantly, inconvenience by making oneself tasty.
