Charge an e-bike at an e-car charging point?
I would like to go on longer bike rides with my e-bike again soon.
In the area where I drive, there are a few EnBW charging stations for electric cars.
According to their overview, there are also e-car charging stations that, in addition to the conventional Type 2 e-car charging plug, also have the plug type "Socket (D)" .
Do I understand correctly that this is a regular socket at the charging station, which I could also use to charge my e-bike? Does anyone have any experience with whether this works?
Unfortunately, I can't find much information about this on the EnBW website itself.
Doesn't work like that.
You should always keep in mind that the charging process for an e-bike takes about 3-4 hours for a full charge, depending on the charger and battery capacity.
Since charging stations are located somewhere in the commercial area, do you really want to walk for 3-4 hours somewhere in the commercial area until the battery is full again?
It would be practical to go to McDonald's somewhere, they also have open sockets.
However, there are also enough charging stations for e-bikes that are free of charge.
