Changing jobs as a student?

I'm currently a working student, and I enjoy the job. I have a good relationship with my coworkers and I'm well paid. I've even been roughly offered the prospect of an extension, if not a full-time position.

However, this field isn't quite where I see my future development. There are other areas where I generally see better prospects for my future/career, where I would have even more fun, and therefore even more motivation.

Would it be unwise to switch to another company for the final semester where I neither know the working conditions nor have any indication of being hired?

How difficult is it to change your field or focus again after your first job (approx. 3-5 years)?

I wouldn't change

In the company you can still develop and look for another employer in parallel.

Then it's good with some professional experience.
