Change phone number despite having an ongoing contract?

Hey! I currently have a non-cancellable cell phone contract. However, I would really like to change my number. This isn't possible within this contract; it's only possible by purchasing a prepaid card from another provider.

How exactly does this work? Will there be any additional costs for me (apart from purchasing the prepaid card itself)? My current contract is quite expensive, and I don't want to have to pay any more. Perhaps someone knows something about this. I would be very grateful for your help! 🙂

Hello,

we offer the possibility to change the phone number even in the current contract for a single fee. If you are harassed, for example, under its current call number, you can get another call number. Such a possibility should be offered by our competitors. So ask the customer service again.

If you’re with us, just give me a wink about our Contact form.

Best regards

I don’t know why a call number exchange is not possible.

Irrespective of: Taking a phone number is meisst chargeable. And often also a call number exchange.

Ask your provider again. The scenario with porting another call number does not really make sense.

That’s totally absurd. What a place is… come on, let’s go. I don’t want to know. 😄

Then I guess you’ll have to figure out how important this is for you.

Ask the prepaid provider how expensive a call number is. These are often about 30€. It’s easy to drink pure wine from the beginning.

And with the current provider, whether the exchange is additionally calculated.
