Change number without notifying WhatsApp contacts?
Hi! I have the following problem: I'm currently in the process of changing my number because I no longer want certain people to be able to contact me or have my number. Sometimes, however, people are notified on WhatsApp or in group chats when someone has changed their number. But that's exactly what I don't want. I only want to give my number to selected people. So, I don't want my current WhatsApp account to be linked to my new number in any way.
How exactly can I make sure this works? Would I have to delete my WhatsApp account and then create a new one with my new number? Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂

If you want to change your number without notification of your contacts to WhatsApp, you should first delete your current WhatsApp account. After that, you reinstall WhatsApp and register with your new number, so your old number is no longer linked to your account and no notifications are sent to your contacts.
