Change mobile phone contract or tariff with O2?

I signed my first contract 4 months ago for an iPhone 14 with 25GB of data.

Now I have an offer in the O2 app for the iPhone 15 Pro Max with AirPods Pro 2nd gen. I saw that I can get it when I change tariffs. Does it work as it says, meaning I get the new phone with the headphones and unlimited for €20 more or is this a separate contract? I am on tariff options, have selected my tariff and phone and would now select phone and click continue.

Now I just have to confirm whether my old contract will be overwritten with the new one or whether they are two different ones. Sorry, I don't know much about it yet.

This depends entirely on your contract, whether you can change your tariff or not. If you have a tariff with a minimum of two years, you have to keep it first. If you want to change to a more expensive rate, it is often possible.

I myself, in principle, only cover monthly contracts. This allows me to change my rate in theory monthly, which is quite practical in some cases
