Chambermaid put tablet in wrong box?

Hello, I work as a chambermaid, and today I was in a room where someone appeared to be sick. There was a ventilator and lots of pills.

I was dusting it and suddenly saw half a tablet that wasn't there before, next to the pill boxes. I saw a box with the pill storage, the silver packaging, outside, and one of the blister packs was empty. I thought it might have fallen out, so I put the half into the blister pack.

But it could be that it was just lying there open and is now in the wrong packaging. I'm incredibly afraid that the guests will think the tablet is one of those still in the blister pack. That was two days ago. Yesterday, I dusted it again, since the guests were still there. I wanted to find out if the tablet was still there, or what kind it was. All the tablets had been put away.

Even if nothing happens at the hotel now, I'm afraid something will happen at home. I just have this uncertainty. Is that bad?

Thanks in advance for further answers

I understand very well, but honestly I find it more than irresponsible by the guests when they leave the tablets so open…

Understand that you need dust wipes there, but in your place, I would rather not do half the tablet in a blister pack, from which you see that it is the right thing…

Maybe you could have placed a note with a hint “half tablet I put in the blister pack”

Don’t worry, if the tablets take daily, they know theirs anyway and can also assign them, there’s no guarantee that anything happens…

They know their tablets.

Have noticed. And that’s why she’s gone.

Don’t worry.

You didn’t do anything bad.

Just learn from it: leave something like it. That’s theirs. You don’t have to clean it up.

Well, throw it behind you.
