Cat was stung by a bee?
Hello, my cat was stung on the paw by a bee. I don't know what to do. I only noticed it now, but she was bitten about five hours ago. It's very swollen and I'm very scared. I can't find anything on Google either.
I'm very happy about helpful answers 🙁
If the spike is still inside, otherwise leave it first. Although it looks unsightly, it is not extreme in most cases in the paw area and should soon swell again, but it can take a day until it begins to swell, as long as you don’t notice anything else about it, it should actually regulate itself and re-sound with time.
In case of stitches in the face and neck area, please IMMER to the veterinarian or emergency veterinarian if it is outside the regular times, because in these areas a swelling can become extremely critical, but at the paws it is, if the animal does not show any signs of an allergic reaction, not all too great drama and sounds again.
For the following symptoms please contact the veterinarian or Emergency veterinarian, as it can be an indication of an allergic reaction, this can take place minutes up to a few hours after the puncture, however, it is already approx. 6 hours ago, shouldn’t be the case anymore.

If the spike is still stuck, remove. If the cat allows to cool the stabbed place. Toxic bubbles do not stand out. Should the swelling not expire in the next few days or should be accompanied by further symptoms, visit the veterinarian.
Good improvement to Katzilein!
I don’t think that’s a problem.
What is very important, and hardly anyone knows that: cats do not wear insect sprays like paral and the like.
Even small quantities can damage cats badly!!!
As long as nothing else is swollen in the head or neck area, I would just watch them and wait.
It’s gonna be okay. It looks quite different tomorrow. Look, there’s nowhere in there.
Remove Stachel if available. It should go away from itself.
The cat doesn’t mind.
