Career choice?

I am in the ninth grade at a middle school in Bavaria and am in the M-stream, so I still have one school year left.

I have grades in the 3 range and will try to improve them next year (unfortunately I am very lazy at school).

I have no idea what training I want to do.

I'm tall and strong, I love the outdoors, I grew up on a farm, I'm skilled at crafts, and I have experience from my grandfather. I enjoy working with wood. I would love to own a large farm and run it full-time, but unfortunately that's not possible, and I still need training.

In addition, most apprenticeships in agriculture are very poorly paid.

My problem is that I don't like sitting in an office, and my workplace shouldn't just be in one location, but I also shouldn't be on a different construction site every other day.

I have already done internships as a car mechanic and agricultural machinery technician (it probably depends on the employees there), neither of which I liked at all.

I also did two internships with the same carpenter.

After the first one I was very convinced to become a carpenter, but after the second one I was extremely unsure because I didn't like working on different construction sites all the time.

All internships were one week each.

I now need tips on what other careers I could try out.

Please write down everything that might fit and feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for your answers

Hello

When I read your text, I had a good job for you all the time: Carpenters!

  • make less and less people / high remuneration
  • you learn practical work that you can use in everyday life
  • a lot of work and preparation is done in your own workshop

the best way to stay unemployed

gives such job preparation after school time to which you could go. It’s called “Bfz”. Why don’t you ask your professional counselor at your school?

For a maximum of 1 year.

there you can think in what areas you want to do internas and then you can do internship and find out what you want to do professionally

The best way to get to the professional advice of the Federal Employment Agency. You have to check out where you’re near the next agency.
