Carburetor tuning misfires?
My Piaggio misfires at partial load. It sounds as if someone were opening a Flensburg beer, and you can tell. My needle is in the middle position. If I turn the air mixture screw in a bit, the misfires also occur at higher revs. Does anyone have any tips for me? I'd be really grateful. Are misfires bad for the engine?
The candle image looks quite dark on the picture because of the light
Otherwise he drives really well and is very reliable
I'm just worried about the misfires
carburetor dellorto phva 17 5 throttled with throttle stop and ring on 25 so mofa HD from 53 to 58 before the candle was just white
Mix is too fat, smaller HD pure..
I have the candles picture white quite light gray but more white
Unfortunately, you don’t write what Piaggio is.
Either the mixture is too fat as @wildpark7 writes correctly or the heat value of the spark plug is not true.
In any case, the candle does not look optimal.
In the case of vehicles which are throttled via a gas slide stop, the heat value of the spark plug is often no longer correct and a spark plug must therefore be selected which is a step lower from the heat value so that it can burn freely.
If you don’t do this, you can forget insulator and annular gap, which can then lead to faulty ignitions.
In principle, faulty ignitions are harmful to the engine.

I once had the problem with the misfires when I had my carburetor new and he ran on the furthest position, there it was only 30 and ran out of there, and burned out rough misfires.
I’ve always been inflamed when I get out of gas and I’ve been driving 6000 km on it. My ZΓΌndapp goes good 80 with the ori 50s, so if he gives up the mind you can argue about whether it was because of the misfires or the tuning.
Just have it if I keep for example at 20 kmh gasses and also not mega loud simply plop as if you make a beer
well, in white, this is normal at 2 clocks, for example, if you drive full gas “bangs” or it usually stutters because you don’t have a real limiter and then just don’t get mixed anymore
I don’t know π π just wanted your opinion on it
