Car sales remote key not working?

Hi, I'm going to sell my car privately and I have two remote keys that only work manually because the key is defective.

Do I have to state this in the purchase contract or does it not matter?

Of course, you have to specify this, especially since it comes out at the latest during the visit.

Hold it in the KV. This is how the buyer signs and knows about it. And it's proven. Otherwise it can be expensive afterwards.

It's probably just the battery empty.

Make sure to.

you can also write in the KV then there are no disputes

Of course you have to say that! The car does not have the usual type-related properties!

It doesn't matter. Of course, the key belongs to the car and just like a defective flasher or a defective horn, the defective key must also be mentioned. So the buyer must definitely be informed.

I would definitely mention this and write it in the purchase contract, then no one can click on the stuff afterwards

You don't have to, but I would recommend to rule out a dispute in advance.

I would take it into the contract…safe is safe nowadays…unfortunately there are always buyers who try to make black white

you should be in the purchase contract if you want to be on the safe side
