Car partial insurance higher because of Schufa entry, can that be?

Hello, I took out partial comprehensive insurance for my car through an insurance broker. He initially charged me €54 per month, but later contacted me again and told me that due to my Schufa (credit rating), I would have to pay €76.80 per month. Now to my question: Is it really true that the insurance is slightly higher due to a negative Schufa (credit rating)?

Unprobably, the Schufa entry is not relevant to harm. I assume that wattdennnu2 is more on the right track.

When he found that the insurer he had first selected did not offer cash insurance protection because of your entry, he took another insurer.

( Same thing happened to me ).

Is this your first car insurance?

I had only completed a car insurance twice by an insurance broker. And this was somehow always much more expensive than I had completed a car insurance online.

Expensive was also a car insurance company in my case when the pre-insurance had terminated itself.

Probably the cheaper insurer rejected you because of the bad Schufa.
