I'm currently considering which lens to buy for my Canon camera. My options are a Tamron 18-200mm 3.5-6.3 Tamron 18-270mm 3.5-6.3 The 270mm costs almost €100 more than the 200mm. Is that extra 70mm worth it, or does it make such a small difference that it's not worth it?
Some printers leave yellow dots on the paper, which form a code that can be used to track the printer. Is it theoretically possible to encrypt this code by printing the sheet once, rotating it 180°, and printing it again? Are there templates online—background areas with equally small dots in the same yellow color that…
Why is new 35mm film cheaper in stores than online and expired film on eBay?
My printer pulls in paper but in such a way that it ends up in a paper jam. It also always pulls in too much paper so that two sheets get stuck. What can I do?
I have a Pixma Canon printer TS3450 I would like to scan a document and save it as a file to my laptop. What software do I need for this?
Hi, I need to fix this printer somehow because I can barely read the prints when it's printing. I have plenty of ink and paper. Are there any printer pros out there? Printer: HP Office Jet 5200 Series
I don’t know the special model, but with many printers this is so. At Canon printers, there were models where the color tanks had a small window through which the printer recognized whether there was still color in the tank. It can be glued or painted black then it also goes with empty tank. It’s got to be on the Internet.
If the color cartridge is all, can you not press black anymore?
That’s correct.
In the past, you could still print with black cartridge when the color tanks were empty or only one of them.
Today the more modern printers have installed a function that then prevents exactly that and you are forced to buy paint so that you can print far. The manufacturers of printers try to achieve more sales when buying cartridges. Many buy refill or reprocessed cartridges. Usually cheaper ink is used there to increase sales, very to the suffering of the print head.
I’ve been using a Black/White laser printer from Brother for years. It is not only cheaper for consumption (€20 for 6-10,000 pages pressure) but also easier to handle. Sometimes it is also networkable, which then saves me the annoying USB cable that leads to the PC as I can print through my home network. The printer is now over 15 years old. Once changed the drum kit and several times changed the toner. Where the costs for printing are still more favourable than with a colour picker.
Nowadays, you hardly need any colourful print. If you can go to the drugstore Rossmann or DM have printing stations where you can print with color, which is cheaper. Or you are looking for Copy Stations where you can also print for small money. Most of what we print today are often texts or instructions/information etc. These can be printed in pure black problemless.
Anyone who wants to print colourful brochures or postcards etc. It is much better off with a copy shop than if it makes it too good. The latter would be simple in production to expensive.
