Canon Selphy cp1500 only shows the new jpg photos from an SD card?

For my photography clubs (twice a week, with two different groups), I have a total of 10 Nikon D3300 cameras and a Selphy Selphy CP1500 printer. Each child has a dedicated camera and inserts their own SD card into that camera each time. The SD cards were all formatted with a Nikon D3300. The image quality is set to JPG and Fine only, so the images are approximately 14 MB in size.

At the end of each “lesson,” the children take turns inserting their SD cards into the printer and printing out a picture.

Now, the Selphy printer only shows the most recent 9 images on all SD cards. All the others (second page) are black with a yellow question mark. At first, I thought it was due to the size of the photos, but I haven't changed any of the camera settings. Besides, there are SD cards, and they display more images.

What could be the reason for this and what do I need to change to see all images (apart from throwing the printer out the window, of course)

First of all, bring the printer to the latest firmware:

SELPHY CP1500 – Canon Europe

Also, you could not set the image quality on fine but on standard, so that the photos become somewhat smaller. On the finished photos you won’t be long because the camera offers a much higher resolution than is required for printing normal 10s format photos. Because your idea could be correct and the printer may not have enough memory to display all preview photos. Can you still print the question mark files?

Have been researched at the Canon Forum, as there are the following solutions for another Selphy:
1) Canon Selphy Printer menu – Printer setup – Info Display – off
2) When viewing the images, press the zoom button.
Are the images processed in any form? Because it only seems to be happening with people who have edited the pictures in Photoshop. The solution was then set in the Jpg compression baseline standard.
