Can you travel to the Czech Republic with an AOK card?

Hello

My girlfriend and I are going to the Czech Republic tomorrow with my mother and her friend to get our nails done.

My friend (15) doesn't have her identity card ready yet, but friends of her father told me that an AOK card, birth certificate and a declaration of consent from her father are enough.

Is this true?

Many thanks for all answers

Greetings

No, an AOK card is not enough. Your girlfriend needs a valid passport or ID card. A birth certificate and a declaration of consent alone are also not sufficient for entry to the Czech Republic. You should clarify this before hand to avoid problems.

No, the AOK card is not a sufficient document.

However, you always need a valid border paper. This goes with a passport, a children's passport or an ID card.

You always need these documents, even if you don't have to show them.

Nevertheless, you need a valid travel document, ie an ID card or passport.

Even if there are no permanent personal checks at the borders, occasional (sample-like or order-related) checks are possible.

Yeah, you can. But there are no border controls to the Czech Republic
