Can you translate a book that you have self-published yourself?
Is it permissible to translate a book that has been self-published (for example, BoD) into English and then publish the English version with another – i.e. English – self-publishing provider?
Of course you can.
If you have not signed any legal matters with the “publication” at the “Verlag” or the Platform, you may of course. This, in turn, can be said badly from here.

But does BoD not have such a rule that, if the contract is signed, the book for the duration of the contract cannot be published otherwise? Or is this not true for versions in other languages?
