Can you spray acrylic spray on aerosol paint?

My rims have aerosol paint (black), which is perfect for achieving a chrome-like color if you spray silver over them. The paint is relatively new (never driven on), but now I wanted to silver it.

Would the acrylic spray paint adhere to the rim paint? Does anyone have experience with this?

Aerosol paints are all spray paints first, the question is whether the lacquer below is based on synthetic resin or on acrylic if it is based on synthetic resin you can forget that acrylic and synthetic resin do not bear.
