Can you send it like this?
I have a pair of shoes to return because they didn't fit. I want to do it at a packing station. I don't have the huge box anymore, just the individual shoe boxes. Can I put them all in there? Because there's the option of having the post office pack and stamp them.
Is it no more than obvious that legal issues require the country concerned to be reported? I am going out of Germany below…
In principle, the article must be packed in such a way that no (further) damage is added. When revoked, the article packaging also belongs to it!
In this respect, the consumer must only be subject to requirements which are usually available to a consumer and what a “typical consumer” can afford.
Exceptions:
Does the dealer offer the option to send the return unpacked? In my knowledge, this is only possible if it is offered by the dealer for an article and you then select this return option.
However, if the option is offered for an item, it is still necessary that the service is also available at the corresponding DHL location. If you are looking for DHL locations via the DHL website, you can select the “Retoure participating traders to deliver unpacked” service via the search filters to check this.
Here you can also find some information on returns, including the option for a unpacked return: https://www.dhl.de/de/privatecustomers/packaging/retoure.html
You can’t, except you have as many return tickets as cardboards.
If you have to pay for this yourself, each package (Schuhkarton) is to be paid individually.
Since when does DHL pack things? That would be new to me.
Original packaging should not actually be glued as they are sold further.
Please ask the seller what you should do in this case before you have to pay for impairment. Saves all parties involved.
In return, this is offered in some articles. But I only know about Amazon. I don’t know if other dealers offer it.
If they wrap it up, but only for the dealer. The buyer then has to take care of the packaging itself.
That’s why the advice to contact the seller so that you can spare any trouble.
Yeah.
