I have a Rex 50 built in 1996 and wanted to restrict it to 25 km/h and yes , it has the papers etc. TÜV approval. When the restrictor is installed the engine simply revs up and gets full throttle when it gets up to 5 km/h. Does anyone have a tip for me?

The Kymco Agility 50 has a CVT transmission (continuous conical disk transmission, centrifugally controlled), or also called “Variomatik”. Engines and gears form a unit, there is nothing else to build on. If the Variomatik annoys you (as I am, it turns too high, wastes unnecessary fuel), then get a Kymco Nexxon 50 or K – Pipe 50. They both have a foot shift transmission with 4 gears.
