Generally no. The effects of blue lotus flowers are very mild. One would have to smoke a very large amount to experience optical hallucinations. There are extracts that focus on the active ingredients, but one must not expect a complete trip.

Blue lotus is often consumed in ritual settings or in combination with other substances. In a meditation session or in connection with psychedelics, it could thus promote hallucinations, but not trigger themselves from my experience. However, the petals can be a tamed and less harmful tobacco substitute in a joint.

so my experience after yes, but only slight halucinations at a large amount you smoked. that presupposes that you do not consume any other drug, otherwise you feel nothing
