Can you go to the sauna after taking Ritalin?

Hello Com,

I have ADHD and have been prescribed the drug Medikinet with the active ingredient methylphenidate for years.

My question is whether I can go to the sauna a few hours after taking this medication (40mg) without any problems, interactions or side effects from the medication?

If it is not very problematic in itself, this also naturally affects the cycle. But you see that.

Ritalin is a centrally effective sedative. Since I don't know the half-life of Ritalin, I don't know how long the effect lasts. There are soothing agents (eg, diazepam, better known under the product name Valium), which nest through the body for a very long time. That's why:

For risks and side effects, they ask their doctor or pharmacist and not the community that can give 99% a real answer even in the case of professional basics.

Great.
Now, if you're all writing "Geht already" are you doing this? Really?
Apart from the fact that there are also many "NOT sauna walkers" who could write your opinion on it…. very informative of course… 🙂

But as a real sauna, I tell you:

Ask someone who really knows about it. Your doctor!
if necessary the Pharmacists of your trust but in no case would I do this here
of a majority opinion….
I'll be right out. Because everyone has possibly gained their own experiences here, which do not cover up with YOUR bodies at all….

Sometimes you have to ask the right questions also to the DUE people and not to discuss them in general, especially when it comes to your own body that NO ONE knows about you!
Even though some of your experiences are reported to you (which I hardly believe)
so all are NOT relevant to you and YOUR body!

Good luck!

Some go to the sauna instead of Ritalin. So could strengthen the effect – which would mean that you're full of chills and not a bit more hibble.
