Can you find real relatives on MyHeritage?
Is the MyHeritage DNA test worth it? Can you find real relatives or is it possible that it is not 100% accurate?

How much you appreciate them and want to thank them for everything, because you've never had the heart to, would you give something like that as a surprise birthday present, ideally with musicians playing drums and such, and all early in the morning so everyone can hear it? It's a high-rise housing estate, so there…
Is there another word for it? Is in terms of biology
I honestly don't know if something like that is even possible or if I'm just imagining it myself First of all, I'm a 15-year-old girl and I don't exactly have good parents, in that sense. I mean, my mom and dad aren't bad people as far as I know, but they just aren't suited to…
Hey people, I'm wondering why my sister is so mean to me, and only to me. I have four sisters: me (14), Lina (15), (20), (25), (28) and yes, Lina always talks to me very aggressively, even when I speak normally. She insults me, calls me annoying, etc., in a very aggressive tone and often…
Of course, the DNA matches are reliable if they have a certain size. I could already assign matches with 6 cM (Ahnen from the middle of the 16th). However, this is a lucky case where, after a long time, enough DNA has been inherited. But I say this: Matches over 20 cM, best with several common segments, you can trust. In general, most matches over 7 cM are also correct. Wrong positive hits can occur in low areas, however. It also depends on where you tested. Thus, it can be a source of error if one has tested with different providers and the common DNA is not very large. And of course, you should also be able to consult a well-developed family tree to assign the incoming matches. If you do not even know the names and dates and places of life of his grandparents, it becomes difficult. So create a foundation first!
Generally, I strongly recommend Ancestry. Do NOT test MyHeritage, even if it is cheaper. When you test yourself at Ancestry, you can then upload your results to MyHeritage, Geneanet, FamilyTreeDNA and GedMatch and also use their databases! Otherwise, this doesn’t work, because Ancestry does not allow any extra uploads. And Ancestry is highly recommended anyway, because they have the largest database and, in my opinion, provide the most data for money by far. I mean not only the DNA database, but also very many indexed church books, state registers, other stem trees, census data from different countries, etc. For the DNA test at Ancestry you also get a 6 month test access for “Ancestry International” for just 1 EUR. I would definitely use that.
And another advice: test the oldest family members first. Maybe it can be “later” too late. If possible, test both parent parts with to easily assign the hits to the maternal or paternal line. If there is absolutely also the grandparents!
Good luck and good luck.
Yes, but most often you find only distant cousins and cousins, except someone in the closer relationship also made a test.
100% accurate is not a DNA test; not even the higher of 23andme and AncestryDNA.
Thanks for the answer. Do you have a test? You think it’s worth it? And how many cousins, cousins came out with you?
I’ve done two tests, one for AncestryDNA and one at 23andme, but none for MyHeritage. At AncestryDNA (the test with the largest database), I have about 6000 distant cousins and cousins, including my father and my half-cousin, who both made the test interesting to me.
Yes, I am skeptical, because for data protection reasons, no such data is exchanged here. In addition, the question is how far this also applies to OBJEKTIV. My “biology logic” rather not.
