you need to look at the package if not in the mineral food already zink in. then, of course, no more zink feed.
the zinc from sunflower seeds is better absorbed by the horse than an industrial zinc preparation. sunflower seeds contain lecithin and biotin, which improves the zinc absorption.
so – if no zink is in the mineral food, you can add zink.
Zinc IS a mineral. You should not feed anything like this without the veterinarian’s corresponding regulation.
