Can the police intervene if cancellation is refused?

So, I ordered something through Media Markt, but certain changes and details weren't applied. So, I contacted customer support immediately after placing the order. They told me they couldn't cancel my order and that I should send an email myself requesting a cancellation.

This morning, I received an email saying that my order could no longer be canceled because it had already been shipped, which isn't true. My order is still in Media Markt's possession.

Now my question is, since Media Markt refuses to accept my cancellation and the money has already been debited, can I take legal action, perhaps go to the police?

The problem is that the amount is not a small amount, which is why it is important to me to get the money back as quickly as possible

Or would it be more helpful if I contact Paypal and ask them to reverse the payment, since Media Markt refuses to accept my cancellation and refund my money?

Thank you in advance

Be glad you didn’t die. Because Storno might mean you have a cost. Use your right to revoke. If you had done this, the package would not have gone to you either.

You don’t need to do anything more than wait until it arrives and then send it back. If it takes you too long, you can also bring it to a branch. However, you don’t get money there, this will be refunded on the way of payment. The police can’t help in any way. It’s not necessary.

Let’s breathe deeply. Today everything is controlled by systems. They are accurate, remember everything, but unfortunately they work slowly. If you order something, you’ll lead a whole rat tail. He’d be totally messed up if you’d change something in between. The process is therefore drawn through to the end. And then you can change something. Everything’s gonna be fine, but it takes time. Doesn’t help the police or a lawyer.

The police have nothing to do with it.

You have to deal with the dealer.

Maybe go to the consumer center or to a lawyer.

In the best case, you can revoke the contract in a form- and timely manner.

But completely without police 🙂

You have 14 days of right of revocation anyway.

Take the package, fill the return ticket, stick the return sticker to the package and send it back immediately.

Where the dealer usually comes up with the idea of reproducing the cancellation into a revocation.

Because that’s how the dealer of the thing has no cost. 😉

Revoke the contract later and is good.
