Could it be that no suitable successor to James Bond has been found? Every imaginable story has already been told with James Bond. Every setting has been used in the films: desert, outer space, Siberia, Antarctica, the North Pole, the Alps, mountains, the sea, the jungle, etc. What else could possibly be great?

You could show some old, but always worth seeing heroes. For example, Armin Müller-Stahl as Achim Detjen.
The current problem is not to find a new bond, but the fact that Amazon bought MGM and Barbara Broccoli (rightholder of the figure James Bond and the films) does not want to film with the group. She simply misses Amazon and probably sits it out until MGM goes back into competent hands.
