Can parking fees be deducted from taxes?
Hello everyone, I have a question.
I have to drive about 10km to work and 10km back every day by car.
I can declare this in my taxes.
But if I can't find a free parking space and have to pay a parking fee of 15 to 20 euros every day, can I still claim this as an employee on my taxes? Logically, with receipts, etc.
Thank you for your answers:)
According to §9 EStG, the distance package is the easy route, thus 10km a day
Auxj here intervenes §9, more precisely paragraph 2 sentence 1
Only the way out, ie the easy ride (= kilometers away)
Not really. With the distance package, the costs for the journey between the apartment and the regular activity site have been reduced.
It may be that the actual costs, if they were higher and can be proven, can be recognized but since you have to ask the tax cracks, I as an entrepreneur always had privately used service vehicles, since all costs were fully deductible and the private use share was to be booked as sales.
In my knowledge parking fees have been paid with the commuter cup.
Bicycle or bus no option? There's a lot of parking together. Maybe a little walk and park somewhere else?
The costs for a parking lot are covered with the removal tray. Exemptions, eg in the case of double budget management, outward activity, disability.
You can only set the simple distance, that is, 10 km.
