Can my brain predict the future?

Hello,

Today, our class went on a field trip to a place (in Saxony-Anhalt) that I hadn't been to before. But about two months ago, I dreamed that I was there, and in the dream, I knew it was in Saxony-Anhalt. The place in the dream and on this trip looked almost identical.

(The place is a small village, but I am not allowed to say what kind of village)

Is this a coincidence?

Is my brain magical?

Why is that?

Such things happen and I don’t know a logical explanation.

It’s already happened to me with places.

Dreams have become “true”. I had a waterbed and dreamed that I turned around, landed a hand on the floor and the floor is wet. In the dream I thought the waterbed had a leak. A few days later I wake up, turn around, a hand lands on the floor and the floor is wet. – The sink was overrun 😂.

Or I’ll run a road down in California and think I could find some money. So I’m running the street and I’m gonna find a dollar bill, after a while, another one, and I’ve found 10 single dollar tickets a day.

Or I’m going through the forest here in Germany and coming to an adult tomb. My brain tells me, look in the trench, see if there’s nothing in there for you. Then there was an olle plastic bag with a few rectangular, white vegetable dishes.

How to explain this?

this is because the houses and villages look quite the same everywhere in Germany and b the brain has dejavüeffects that means it is as if something new was already there even though it looks for the first time. This can be because it can link things wrong, it can connect a new memory to old and then acts as if it had been experienced.

Sounds for me to nem Déja Vu, so that you think you’ve seen something before, although that can’t be, I have more often.

Your brain is magical I doubt

Looking back, you remember wrongly your dream and see great matches because you want to see that. Memories are extremely unreliable and are constantly changing. This also leads to things like Déjà-vus. And this is a qualitative memory disorder.

Therefore: No, you can’t look into the future.

My brain always dreams of something. And if that happens so or so, I still haven’t looked into the future.

You have dreamed about the trip (which was probably already known when you dreamed) and presented to you from probably well-known pictures of these villages. This probably vague memory of the dream you have now “recognitiond”.

Is that coincidence?

Exactly. And selective perception, you’ve already dreamed some things that didn’t happen.

How did a former Chancellor say:

Who has visions should go to the doctor.
