Hello, I painted an oil painting two weeks ago and it is now completely dry and I would like to seal it.
I have an acrylic gloss varnish (water-based clear coat). Can I use the varnish for my oil painting?

I’m not an expert, but I think you can use it. I heard, however, that oil needs to dry for half a year. Are you sure you don’t just have the surface dry?
The picture is completely dry and the surface is matt.. I think it’s dry. Thanks for your answer ☺️
