Can I use my laptop as a 4th screen?
hey dear users,
I have three screens on which I do different things, but I also have a not so powerful laptop and would like to use that as an additional monitor.
I know that the HDMI input on the laptop is only output, so I got an adapter that converts HDMI to USB.
My laptop runs Debian Linux because, as I mentioned, it's not very powerful. My PC, however, runs Windows 11. Is that okay?
I would really like to connect my laptop via cable because
1. I have now bought an adapter and
2. I don't want any delay.
If it's important to know which graphics card I have: Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT Pulse
Thank you in advance 🙂
This would be very cumbersome to do, if at all, especially if the "main system" is running Windows.

There's a video on YouTube about how to extend the screen with OBS, but all I see is black: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1RsqnbwhFs
