Can I use local public transport the next day with a DB Flexticket?
I am planning a (long-distance) trip by train (ICE) soon
I would like to take the more expensive Flexticket because I would like to interrupt my journey and continue the following day.
To this extent, this is clearly permitted.
The Flexticket includes a city ticket. Can this also be used the following day, or only the long-distance part?
Maybe someone knows. It will probably take a while until I get through to DB.
"bahn city ticket validity" 2. Result: https://www.bahn.de/faq/gueltigkeit-city-ticket
So look at your ticket, which is the first day of validity.
But: For example, if you have a ticket to Berlin Alexanderplatz and drive with rail vehicles operated by the railway (ie also local traffic such as RB, RE and S-Bahn), you do not need a city ticket if Alexanderplatz or only "Berlin" is available as a final destination. The City ticket (=additional "+City" at the destination) you need if you want to get into the tram.
Notification
Since the City ticket is intended to continue from your destination station, it is of course the day you arrive at the destination station.
Only for security: The City Ticket only applies to one individual journey from/to the station. It is No Network card.
