It is best to take the plant out of the pot, rinse the soil out of the roots a little, wrap it all loosely into a damp cloth and all of it into an empty apple jar or the like.

Depending on the country, plant feeding is usually subject to strict controls (sawlings, bacteria, viruses) Besides, it is unthinkable that you can take it in a hand-pocket, if anything else can be hidden in the earth, and last but not least it could be that the plants do not survive the journey. Tem.,Air pressure, lack of light, time shift etc.Hab even several Bonsai from China “lubricated”, but have all been received in a few weeks!

I brought orchids and a small coconut palm from Singapore, completely problem-free. Only the living Canadian bird was tested for all certified veterinarian papers. It cost a little more time in the inch.

My knowledge is not permissible. I believe it is forbidden to take plants out/introduce them as well as seedlings (seeds, tubers and onions of plants).
You can do that….

No, I don’t think so. Plants are subject to any import regulations. I left the plant at home. Can be that at the airport they throw away

Hello! Asked at Austrian Airlines! From Austria it is possible to take up to a size of the hand baggage so high 55cm height! Also with pot and earth! But instead of the hand luggage! Evtl has to be paid in another country! Paulina
