Can I still travel without a BahnCard?

I bought a ticket at the train travel center using a Bahncard 25. My train leaves tomorrow evening, and I realized I've lost my Bahncard. What happens now? Can I still travel, or do I have to get a new ticket? Or can I get a temporary Bahncard at the travel center? Thanks in advance 🙂

Do you have a smartphone? If so, you can download the DB Navigator app. You can download your train card into the app and show it on your phone.

If you arrive on the train without Bahncard25, you would get a fare recovery (min. 60€). Alternatively, you can also call the DB Hotline. These can possibly deposit a preliminary replacement card on the machine. You will then get a number that you need to enter at the machine and then you can print the previous railway card.

If you go to the switch, this should also be possible.

Hello, a friend of mine once had the problem. She then had to report to the BahnCard service in writing. Before that, she had called there and she was told the whole thing. I think she had to pay a fee of 15 Euros, but I am no longer sure:/ But at the end she received a preliminary railway card.

In any case, you should already contact the BahnCard service today, and they will be able to help you. In urgent cases, there is a faster solution!

Just call tomorrow morning. They’ll help you. Probably you will have to go to a travel center and get a preliminary traincard for payment.
