Can I play on two computers with one Steam account?

Here's the situation: I bought the game F1 2020, and it offers a LAN mode. My friend didn't buy the game. Is it possible to play together on LAN using the "borrow" feature on Steam or another solution, with only one account having purchased the game, or is that not possible?

I can’t.

You can share some games about family sharing, but then you can’t both play at the same time.

But there are games with local multiplayer where you can play on a computer. e.g. blazblue.

Hey,

is unfortunately excluded, you need 2 copies of the game. With the function “Family-Sharing” only one can play the game at the same time and if you share the same account it is the same scenario.

It won’t be.

You can share your library with your buddy, but your buddy can only use it if you don’t play it yourself.

So nothing. Your buddy will have to buy it if you want to play together.
