Can I get the vehicle registration document part 1 without having to take the vehicle registration document part 2 with me?

Hello everyone,

I have lost my vehicle registration document part 1 and would like to report it as lost tomorrow.

I have a second residence 600km away where my vehicle registration document part 2 is located.

Can I renew my Part 1 vehicle registration even if I don't have Part 2 vehicle registration? So I can deregister the car?

If you lost it, why would you want to report it stolen?

And I'm pretty sure you need Part 2 to replace the lost Part 1. How else would the registration office know that the vehicle (still) belongs to you?
