Can I face consequences if I make €10 without VAT?
Hey, I've been thinking about selling some leftover eggs from my chickens. That's why I've been thinking about creating a website. Now, my question: Could I face consequences from the tax office (or anyone) if I don't pay sales tax on them or register a business (I don't know much about this, so don't blame me).
If you sell eggs over the Internet, it is no longer a farm sale. Your main problem is trade supervision or food supervision.
If you do not sell the eggs directly from the farm, you must register and have the eggs with this stamp. Tip: Let it go.
Sell the eggs in your private or professional environment.
Depending on the ratio of the number of chickens to your agricultural area, the egg sales as a farm or commercial livestock are taxable.
Up to revenues of 22,000 euros annually, you can ignore the VAT.
Ah okay many thanks then I’d rather
I would leave the site. I’ve got some of the chickens in the private environment and I’ve got the eggs to give or sell to friends and colleagues.
As I said, sales tax is not a problem.
In income tax, it would be taxable, but if you earn 100 euros per year, the income tax is between 0 and 30 euros.
If you use a website for financial revenue, you must also provide an imprint there. Without registering a business, I think it’s a bit risky.
This is agriculture and forestry, not industry.
Once or for a long time?
Once, it can be done.
Hm would say ca. For 6 months I estimate sales to 50euro maximum
