Can I change my radio without any problems?

Hi dear community,

I have a 2011 Audi A3 8P. I bought it used, and unfortunately, it only has the Audi Chorus radio, meaning it has a tiny display without a touchscreen or navigation.
Since it's now 2022, and I'd really like to have a display, and I think the navigation function on similar models with better features is pretty cool, and it enhances the interior, I'd like to upgrade. I found such a radio for €300 on eBay classifieds. Now, my question: Can I install the touch radio with navigation (CD) without any problems? Or should I expect some malfunctions or even a loss of sound?

I want to install a DIN 2 radio. You would have to supply the front cover and various adapter cables/plugs. If it’s a DAB radio, you have to have an extra antenna for it. Let yourself be advised in specialty business or even at VW/Audi.
