Schildrüsenfunktionsstörungen sind meistens eine chronische / lebenslange Erkrankung. Wenn du eine (häufige) Unterfunktion hast, musst du lebenslang Hormontabletten einnehmen. Aber das brauchst du nicht, wenn du die Symptome erduldest (ist also keine lebensbedrohliche Erkrankung). Eine seltenere Schilddrüsenüberfunktion kann behandelt werden, aber dann musst du auch lebenslang Tabletten entnehmen.
Unterfunktion meist nicht (Medikamente oft lebenslang), Überfunktion manchmal heilbar (je nach Ursache). Der Arzt prüft aber genau, ob es bei dir auch ohne geht.
Bei Unterfunktion musst du auf jeden Fall lebenslang Medikamente nehmen (Thyrex/Euthyrox).
