Can anyone tell me what kind of trailer this is?

Is something like this still available for purchase? And what about registration? Does it count as cargo, since it's not attached to the tow bar.

These things existed and were approved. I have a real one and it is much better to use or load

There must be papers and with those it will be registered. Of course there is also a special device to attach it to the car. As I already wrote, any normal trailer is more practical.

These are so-called single-track trailers. They still exist today, but are very rare. They are registered in the normal, regular way.

It looks homemade. I doubt it'll get approval.
