Can a broken geranium re-root?
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my geranium. First, the stem snapped, and then it broke off while I was trying to fix it. I put the stem in water and hope that it will now form roots and I won't lose it and have to throw it away. I hope it works. 🙏🏻
Can anyone tell me if the geranium will survive? Or will it die and I'll have to throw it away?
The geranium was written off about six months ago because it was no longer sellable and I was allowed to take it home for 50 cents to save its life. It has grown quite large in the meantime and has unfortunately bent over and torn off. It also had beautiful red flowers. The weather was really good for it to grow, especially by the window, with lots of sun and warmth and lots of watering.
Cut off the drive tip with several blazers, Distance blues should provide good for the reproduction / preservation.
3 adult blazers 1 – 2 young butterflies, as long as possible
swung directly on the sheet until the next sheet depth (water, sand – peat take equal amounts
Your geranium will form new roots, geraniums are strong and create it.
Good luck.
Didn't know that geraniums were so resilient that I could save her so easily. 🙏🏻
I've been growing a lot of cuttings in the garden.
Yes, exactly
Oh, now I understand what cuttings are, these are shoots that are torn off the plant.
Can try to multiply them by cuttings
Where exactly are the cuttings? the plant has only flowers, shoots and green leaves, it was thought to be placed in the water and it gets new roots.
Take the stalk, cut it clean under a leaf ax, remove the leaf. On the other hand, you cut over the leaf axles. Then put the lower part in grower soil (or a glass of water). With some luck, roots form.
Ok that sounds complicated, have put the drive so in a measuring cup with water and hope that it forms roots looks quite right out of the geranium, have already formed bubbles under water.
