Before starting the Windows installation, disconnect all other disks that do not contain (C:).

If your OS is on drive 0 , delete all partitions on it as shown in the following video from minutes 4:40 to 6:30. – Lake:

The deleted partitions are merged into one "Unallocated Space". >
Select this storage location > Click " Next " in the bottom right corner. . .
Drive 0 is then repartitioned, formatted, and Windows installed in one go.

Start your current Windows and copy all important files to an external hard drive or USB stick.
Then boot from the USB stick again and click on all the partitions on the hard drive where you want to install Windows (let's say Disk 0), then click the red X. When only the unpartitioned hard drive is visible, select it. Then you can simply click Next, and Windows will partition and format it. After that, you'll have a fresh Windows installation. Set everything up there and copy your old data over.

Attention: You will lose all data on the C: partition, so please back it up before hand!

If there is no data already on the disk, delete all partitions, create a new partition, and then the installation will begin.

Make a backup.

Backup your data, not the entire disk.
