MfG.

In the sleeping bag area, I would recommend you to use 2 sleeping bags, put in one another. At least the inner of it in a down version.

A single -30°C sleeping bag would be too warm for all other conditions, and is also not so cheap, especially if it is a down sleeping bag.

Boring a sleeping bag in this price position is probably not so easy because sleeping bags are difficult to clean/wash, and you don’t get into strange old sweat.

In shoes, let the acquaintance advise you. There are also some things to consider, but I have no idea of.

At the temperature values, the comfort values do not match the extreme values. The calculation of two sleeping bags results from the difference between the desired inner temperature and the minimum (outer) comfort temperature.

A sleeping bag with -10°C comfort temperature thus has an insulation capability of absolutely 37°C from about +27°C to -10°C. With a second -10° C. sleeping bag, the 74° C. At 27° C. internal temperature, theoretically up to -47° C., minus 5-10° C. tolerance, i.e. at least up to -37° C., could be very clear in this combination.

At -30°C we talk about really good Equipment. A good(!) Down sleeping bag that covers these temperatures as comfort range(!) with additional VBL (Vapor Barrier Liner) so that the body fluid does not flow into the down.

We’re talking about Need for survival, there is no “good”.

I would never buy that because of anonymous tips, but always with someone who has already gained personal experience in the region and really knows what he is talking about.

The same applies to clothing, underwear and also laundry that you wear in the sleeping bag at night.

Here might be an interesting basic video:

The man knows what he’s talking about, he was on his way up there on foot in winter.

You know the brand “cockin”, which has always accompanied me well on my hikes in cold opposite (Grönland).

LG and fun

Where in Greenland were you?

So I dare to say that without experience it is simply impossible (at least if it should be safe) to camp at such extreme temperatures.

Even with cheap equipment you won’t get far.

Nonetheless, as a sleeping bag, I would recommend the Defense 6 of Carinthia.

No. No Def6. This does not reach the necessary values.

The best thing is, you’re looking for an outdoor shop near you and going there.

People there can advise you well and know what it is. These people cannot afford to offer inferior goods.

Important;

At YouTube there are too many sponsored videos where low-quality goods like gold dust are praised. Here you have to look very carefully.

Look at YouTube, which channels deal with the topic. And then ask the respective YouTubers by comment. Ask at many – then you will also get many options suggested.
