Camera doesn't switch to viewfinder?

Hey, I have a Canon EOS M50 Mark II. When I try to look through the viewfinder, the sensor doesn't respond, and therefore it doesn't switch. How can I set it so that when I get close to the sensor, it switches?

Did you buy the camera used? Then it may be that the previous owner has placed it in the menu.

In the wrench menu, you will find the screen settings in the 3rd tab. There you can switch to car or manual. If this is on the car, the sensor should normally detect whether your eye is on the seeker. If not, the sensor may be contaminated or broken.

If the camera is still a guarantee, you should change/repair it in the case.

Hello

many configure a button via CFN to switch the searcher modes. There are 1 dozen tutorials on Youtube

There is no fine adjustment of the response behavior of the sensor or eye recognition as with M5 or R cameras.

The technology was installed in Canon DSLR for the last 15 years and was good enough or was switchable with a button next to the searcher from the age of 100.

You can also just fold the TFT then always do the EVF.

The problem is when the camera at the neck in standby mode (Eco Mode) baummelts always switches on the EVF/TFT and consumes power

Then the sensor is dirty, clean it. This is an oval window next to the searcher at my camera.
