Calculating lengths in a trapezoid?
Good day friends,
I need help solving a problem from my exam preparation – keyword – trapezoid.
Total: Length a and area A
2. Ray theorem was my first approach, but this does not seem possible, since we can only draw the length 6 at one of the lengths.
Many thanks in advance!
a ? — Du meinst wohl x.
Fläche von einem Trapez ausrechnen sollte ja kein Problem sein.
A = ((a + c) / 2) * h
Ansonsten Berechnung von x würde ich wie folgt berechnen.
7 + 5 = 100%
12 = 100%
7 = 100 / 12 * 7
7 = 58,33333333%
5 = 100 / 12 * 5
5 = 41,66666667%
—
h5 = ((1 / (a + c)) * a) * h
h5 = ((1 / (7 + 5)) * 7) * 6
h5 = ((1 / 12) * 7) * 6
h5 = (0,08333333 * 7) * 6
h5 = (0,08333333 * 7) * 6
h5 = 0,58333333 * 6
h5 = 3,5
—
h4 = ((1 / (a +c)) * c) * h
h4 = ((1 / 12) * 5) * 6
h4 = 0,41666667 * 6
h4 = 2,5
—
h3 = h2 – h4
h3 = 4 – 2,5
h3 = 1,5
—
x / h3 = c / h4
x / 1,5 = 5 / 2,5
x = 5 / 2,5 * 1,5
x = 3
