Calculate the edge length of a cuboid with surface area?

I have to calculate the edge length and the volume of a cuboid. How do I calculate the edge length if O = 24cm²?

Thank you in advance

With this information, it would only be possible to calculate it if the cuboid has the special shape of a cube. If it's a cuboid with three different side lengths, the problem cannot be solved without further information.

Assuming it is a cube:

O = 6a² = 24 cm² divided by 6

a² = 4 cm² This is the area of one square, ie, the area of one cuboid. Then take the square root.

a = 2 cm edge length.

Volume V = a³ = (2cm)³ = 8 cm³

The a is the edge length of a cube.

Formulas:

Surface area O = 6a²

Volume V = a³
