Calculate magnetic flux density in a magnetic circuit?

Hi. How do I calculate the two tasks?
I have an approach for 4.2.1, but how do I calculate the equivalent reluctance?

Unfortunately, I don't know how to get the value for x in 4.2.2. Can someone please calculate it for me?

I drew the equivalent circuit diagram

Here, the equivalent circuit doesn't change because x is still at 0. Furthermore, the flux density is the same everywhere. I would have connected the two outer legs in parallel and then the middle leg in series, but that would only produce crap.

solution is apparently B=0.44 T

the next task:

I should determine the total reluctance as a function of x

Solution of 4.2.2 is (8.8-5.143*10^-5 x^2) MA/Vs

This is the second time you've omitted the thickness of this circle. There's a missing piece of information here.

Edit:

Okay, the information here says "square." If you had uploaded the complete information in your old post, you'd already have an answer. Your reasoning is correct, but I don't do math on vacation.
