Learn C# programming?

I want to learn programming and work with the C# programming language. But I've only watched a few tutorials, and they only tell me what to type in exactly the same order for a specific purpose, and don't explain exactly what the individual commands do.

Can you recommend a video (or several) where I can learn how to properly use the commands and program something myself?

I looked in a few places and that was quite understandable.

I personally would recommend a book to you, at least if you were serious. You can easily check things and do not always have to switch between video and IDE.

C# 8 with Visual Studio 2019 by Andreas Kühnel is recommended.

I can’t really, because I’ve never learned C# actively. Just look at the reviews.
